I’ve been using 12-minute “admin sprints” between sessions with a timer (https://tomato-timer.com), then a hard handoff back to prep — like swapping sticks mid-drill. If the sprint overflows, I dump it to a single ‘Later’ page in Notion, but if you hate apps, a plain sticky note works. Anyone else use a lacrosse roles board that doubles as a weekly coaching checklist?

To tame the “managing time between coaching sessions and administrative duties” bit, I block a 15-minute reset right after each session to dump three bullets into Notion and queue one admin batch, then a single 30-minute block before lunch to execute; Sunsama (https://www.sunsama.com) makes the handoff clean, but only if I set a hard timer. If you’d rather skip another app, a recurring calendar block with a distinct alert works nearly as well.

Dictate notes into Otter (https://otter.ai) during hallway buffers; trims “admin” time, @Guide. Caveat: skip recordings for sensitive clients.

Switching gears between sessions and admin drives me nuts, so I use a text-expander snippet (“;rn”) to drop a 4-line recap template in about 10 seconds, then batch everything at 4:30. It keeps me focused and still hits the “managing time between sessions and administrative duties” point; caveat: if someone needs same-day notes, I’ll send a one-liner and leave the rest for the batch.
