Thanks for keeping up with the latest in our coaching community. Whether you’re here for the professional insights or the camaraderie, your participation is what makes our discussions meaningful. Until next time, take care.

I’ve started using a simple split for remote weeks: ‘focus blocks’ for client sessions and a 20‑minute daily ‘money block’ for invoicing/forecasting — flossing for cash flow. A hard stop at 5:30 with Do Not Disturb protects evenings, and I do a quick ethics refresh monthly with the ICF page at ICF Ethical Standards: Upholding Coaching Ethics. Only caveat: during launches I batch the money block twice a week, and I’d love to hear @Aisha’s cadence with distributed teams.

I cap live sessions to Tue–Thu and keep a Friday afternoon buffer for admin and ethics reading (ICF Ethical Standards: Upholding Coaching Ethics) — my calendar’s the bouncer when remote gigs span time zones. If a rush request bumps it, I ‘pay it back’ the next week so personal time doesn’t quietly disappear.

I split remote weeks into bookable office hours for live sessions and async Loom check-ins on the other days; Clockwise (https://www.getclockwise.com/) protects a daily block for invoicing and a hard stop, like bumpers on a bowling lane. It keeps finances predictable and my evenings intact, though I keep one rotating late slot each month for APAC/EU clients. A quick one-line note — “why I said yes/no” after tricky requests — has helped me spot boundary patterns later.
