Building team morale in our sessions

Lately, I’ve been focused on finding ways to boost team morale during our coaching sessions. I noticed that introducing short, fun icebreaker activities before we dive into the serious stuff made a big difference. It seems to foster a sense of community and help everyone feel more engaged. What have you all found effective in keeping morale high while maintaining a strong focus on our mission?

I’ve found that incorporating a gratitude circle at the end of our sessions can really enhance morale. Everyone takes a moment to share something they appreciated about a teammate or a moment from the session, and it builds a positive atmosphere. Just like your icebreakers, it strengthens the sense of community without taking too much time — probably around 10 minutes tops.

I love how you mentioned icebreakers — it’s amazing what a little fun can do for energy levels. I’ve had success with quick team challenges that require collaboration, like a tiny problem-solving task. It fosters teamwork and can be wrapped up in less than 10 minutes. Have you tried anything like that for your group?
