What You’ll Do:
• Assist with year-round recruitment of high school and junior college players (scouting, travel to games/events, outreach).
• Deliver coaching instruction across multiple learning styles; run pre/post workouts and skill development sessions.
• Prepare and manage game/video equipment, exchange film with opponents, and record game statistics.
• Support program administration and ensure compliance with NCAA, SWAC, and university rules and regulations.
• Represent the Men’s Basketball program professionally at events, on the road, and with prospective student-athletes and their coaches.
• Participate in frequent travel and extended work hours during season, recruiting periods, and events.

I’d take it if you love recruiting — when I was assisting at a SWAC program, my car was my office. Tip: map a 300-mile radius from Lorman and block travel around NCAA D1 men’s “live periods” (calendar: https://www.ncaa.org/sports/2013/11/19/recruiting-calendars.aspx) so you can stack JUCO visits efficiently. Small caveat: the pay can trail and the nearest major airport’s a hike, so be ready for long drives @OP.
